Sarah Palin's CLSA US-China relations speech in Hong Kong released!
I found this on an undisclosed location on the web by a source that wished to remain anonymous of the speech Sarah Palin made at the 6th annual CLSA Investors' Forum in Hong Kong Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009:

Hello Brokerage CLSA!

I appreciate speaking directly to you, the people I serve, as your former Governor of Alaska, a state not far from here.

I accept this invitation call to help our America with you, the China people and to serve and defend America.

I accept the challenge of a tough situation to be in this room, this conference, with your food and the noodles and to say that... against confident opponents ... at a crucial hour for our country, I am her to speak to you.

It was just over a year ago when all the experts in Washington said we had a new President, not Chinese but African, who counted out our votes because he refused to hedge his commitment to the security of the country he loves.

With their usual certitude, the voters told us that all was not lost, except that the Republicans - there was no hope for my candidate victory at this time who said that we would rather lose an election than see the country lose a war.

To the families of special-needs children in this country and across all countries, I have a message: For years, you sought to make America a more welcoming place for your sons and daughters. We welcome you like you welcome us here on the stage where I am now standing.

My husband Todd loves China-type food products in those cute boxes at the corner restaurant, as do all my children and myself. And America. He's a lifelong commercial fisherman ... a product operator in the oil fields of Alaska's North Slope ... a proud member of the United Steel Workers' Union ... and world champion snow machine racer. Like China, he is strong and needs me when I am there.

A writer observed: "We grow good people in our small towns, with honesty, sincerity, and dignity." I know just the kind of people that writer had in mind when he praised Harry Truman. Truman never came to China, but if he was alive today, he would. As would I with him hand to hand, arm to arm with you.

So we must invest! China, I love you! Investors here have been so nice to me so far today and I am grateful for this chance to tell you that America is not going to attack. We never had those plans as far as I know. We owe you money.

That said, we are in a state of debt in Alaska and beyond. We are fixated with hope for the future and deny negative government control of our lives, like my belief in the Lord.

People who know me know that besides faith and family, nothing's more important to me than my beloved Alaska, where I was once Governor until the media made me resign. Well, not resign really. I left it in good hands.

Alaska's mission - to contribute to America. We're strategic IN the world as the air crossroads OF the world, as a gatekeeper of the continent, a lone wolf that has been shot but endures on. Bold visionaries knew this - Alaska would be part of America's great destiny.

Our destiny to be reached by responsibly developing our natural resources. This land, blessed with clean air, water, wildlife, minerals, AND oil and gas. We can sell it to you at a cheaper price. We can and you can buy.

We are doing well! I wish you'd hear MORE from the media of your country of China progress and how we tackle Outside interests - daily - SPECIAL interests that would stymie our Earth. Even those debt-ridden stimulus dollars that would force the heavy hand of federal government into our communities with an "all-knowing attitude" - we have taken the slings and arrows with that unpopular move to veto because we know that owing money to people is bad.

We ask for your forgiveness in asking you for money. We can endure better without the debt, so I have asked the President of CLSA to perhaps give us back some money in a trade for our protection of you in the future.

We hold these truths to be evident. Freedom! Money! People! Chinese products and investors!

Thank you. And thank you for coming.

-Sarah Palin
