OMG check out this billboard some wingnuts put up in Kansas City!!

This is disgusting. It is on I-70 at the 22.8 mile marker between Blue Springs and Grain Valley (eastern suburbs).

I got this in an email and drove out there today to make sure it wasn't a hoax. My heart sank when I saw it.

The hate is getting out of hand, folks.

2. For what it cost to run that sign up that pole the girls' soccer team could
get new uniforms, the marching band could order a couple more brass instruments or drums, some more books could be placed on the school library shelf, and kids who arrive without lunch money because both their parents have been laid off could have something to eat.

God damn the Far Right anyway. God damn them all.

I'm kidding, of course, but that's probably not too far from the real answer they'd give you, and probably nicer.

These people are sick.

16. True . They may actually be sick -- suffering from some kind of
behavioral disturbance or other.

To ceremonialize anger like that, to yelp out defiant crap at a president addressing the nation, etc.

Several screws loose in the GOP Frankenstein.

between Blue Springs and Grain Valley.

I got an email about it last night and thought for sure it was a hoax. Drove out there myself to check it out and I was stunned when I saw the sign.

What kind of HATE is necessary to spend that kind of money on a freakin billboard???

10. "The Hammer and Sickle...
...is a part of communist symbolism and its usage indicates an association with Communism, a Communist Party, or a Communist state. It features a hammer superimposed on a sickle, or vice versa. The two tools are symbols of the industrial proletariat and the peasantry; placing them together symbolises the unity between industrial and agricultural workers. This emblem was made during the Bolshevik Revolution."

IDK...but I would think they'd have the American flag on the billboard, but maybe I dont understand them...

If so, it's just begging for something snarky yet accurate, with an arrow pointing to the other billboard.

It's amazing the amount of hate that these people are letting loose. What is wrong with these nutjobs? (rhetorical question - I was just at a town hall meeting this weekend and I know what's wrong with the ignorant assholes).

I'll have to find out what my aunts think of this and if there's any paintball enthusiasts that might need to drive by...

30. And yet stuff like this prove Obama hasn't attacked 1st amendment rights
Really, if Obama were attacking our 1st amendment rights don't you think he would... oh I don't know... attack the 1st amendment rights of people who put up that sign, by getting rid of it?

And on the 2nd amendment to they're wrong, Obama's already signed more things into law with provisions expanding gun rights then George W. Bush ever did in his 8 years, nor has he vetoed any bills yet so you can't even argue he voted some pro gun legislation. And yet Obama is taking away our second amendment rights now? Oh, and not to mention the Supreme Court just agreed to hear a case on if the 2nd amendment applies to states as well (and even if Obama wanted to make the states take away 2nd amendment gun rights he couldn't, he's president, not dictator).

31. in my opinion it energizes the Democrats so bring it on - and drains their coffers

they keep using these superlatives which they will be unable to maintain after another month or so passes. After predicting the end of the world for month after month after month, people really do stop listening after awhile.

That is starting to happen.

'Obama is Hitler' - well, hate to tell you folks he ain't - and you got no where to go now that you've drawn that analogy

yes, the end is near - but for the GOP
