Orly Taitz is a fraud!
Edited on Wed Sep-30-09 08:45 PM by Catshrink
I was trying to avoid doing some work tonight and did a little searching. Can you believe that Orly has "fabricated" her life? What are the odds that the Mascara Madam who crusades against Obama's "fraudulent" life is herself a gigantic fraud?

I found this from Encyclopedia Dramatica:

Description
Known as the Birther-in chief, Orly Taitz is a Russian immigrant and attorney in the state of California. As far as her description goes, that is where sanity stops and the unreality begins. She has a dental degree from some Israeli university, she has a mail order law degree from someplace, and she claims to be a real estate agent. All of these claims have a bit of quasi-truth to them, but quickly melt away under a tiny bit of scrutiny. Also, since she was raised under the Soviet regime in Russia during the cold war, she (like most ex-commie Russians) has a paranoid streak a mile wide; considering any sort of opposition part of the “Obama Thugs” who are out to silence her…possibly forever. (queue sinister music)

Lies

1. Orly lied that she escaped from the Soviet Union 20 yrs ago. That would be 1989. But in 1987 Orly was married in Las Vegas USA as an established resident of California.

2. There is no record of her immigration, arrival in USA or naturalization, although records for those events are publicly available for the years from her birth through present day.

3. Orly’s had 3 anchor babies. Isaac Yitzhak Taitz, 14 Jul 1989, Benjamin Samuel Taitz,7 Oct 1991, Ronald Michaeladam Taitz, 3 Sep 1993. When Orly registered Ronald’s birth Orly fraudulently gave her maiden name as Auerbuch instead of Averbuch. Maybe both are fake names, because there is no record of her in the official list of Soviet Citizens from 1960-1987.

4. Orly claims Orly got her dental degree from Hebrew University in Israel. Was that before or after her “escape” from the Soviet Union? Hebrew U does not have a record of her on their Alumni list. A fake dental degree explains the dozens of dental malpractice suits filed against her.

5. Orly paid someone to take the California Bar exam for her. Her lack of knowledge of the law and of legal procedures supports this. Her terrible grammar and spelling shows her lack of formal education and supports the theory her dental degree is fake, and of course her unaccredited online law school required no prerequisites or LSAT.

6. There is no record of her in the list of California Registered voters.

7. The same year as her marriage, husband Yosef opened Daylight Chemical Information Company, even though he has no degree listed anywhere.

8. Orly claims she is also a realtor but that is another lie. Her license was revoked years ago.

9. Orly calls herself a Constitutional law expert, but besides the obvious fact that Orly doesn’t understand it at all. Orly’s never had a case before, other than defending herself against malpractice.

10. Orly claimed that her website and Paypal account were hacked by invisible boogiemen.

11. Claims that the Constitution requires for both of the president's parents to be natural born citizens as well. Particularly lulzy since this is so blatantly easy to prove as untrue.

If even *that* is the case show her the door deport her, from the classic mold of a ham-handed Lucian Goldberg & Donald Segretti she is violating the proper dispensation of American ideals and good office - she's a spook - someone knows why she's here and they are supporting her under laws that would get certain other 'agent provocateurs' transported elsewhere w/o any further prejudice where applicable and I say she should be allowed to be there

And she was left behind after the USSR collapsed? I could see her as a spy -- but I'd think a spy would have a better cover and blend in. She really does stand out -- maybe she went off the deep end after the collapse.

31. Transliteration!
Far from defending Taitz, but at least a few of these things might be cleared up by paying attention to how names are transliterated between spelling systems and between languages. It's telling that you think she deceives the public by giving her maiden name as both Auerbuch and Averbuch, names that are more than likely versions of the same thing. Keep in mind:

1. Names are spelled differently in different languages and different spelling systems.
2. Just because Cyrillic has both an "a" and a "u" does not mean that the diphthong "au" (German in origin) is spelled the same way in Russian.
3. Hebrew has no way of representing the diphthong "au". There is really only one vowel, alef, that is used when a word or syllable begins with a vowel. Otherwise, vowel sounds are understood rather than written. Often dots are used as pronunciation guides, but those are like training wheels--not really part of the word itself.
4. Yiddish transliterated Germanic words and names by substituting "vav" (v) for "u".
5. In Israel, there is some pressure to Hebraicize names, whether that means writing them in a way that is consistent with Hebrew pronunciation or taking on a new name that has the same meaning. Since "au" is not in Hebrew ...
6. Immigrants to the US oftentimes have difficulties settling on an acceptable representation of their names. Some have been given "suggestions" by immigration authorities that are more in line with Anglo-American standards (that's how my family got a Scottish name, though we have not one drop of blood from the British Islands). Some languages assign surnames in ways different from us (notice how many times Kos has had to correct one of his critics?).
7. Being married probably made settling on a Romanized form of her maiden name less than important.

To get at the core of Taitz story, you need to keep these variations in mind, noting that they may not be part of a deception. She may lie in other ways, but spelling just reveals cultural insensitivity.

37. Now that I look at her, she reminds me of someone I knew back in the
seventies, who was very smart and could absorb an astonishing amount of facts sitting in the library. She had the same platinum, bleached, blond hair and weird eye make-up. This acquaintance had an English accent though. She would pop up in the unlikeliest jobs as an expert. Once, when I ran into her, she told me she was working as a gas engineer (?). I was rather incredulous and asked her when she got her degree to which she replied that she didn't need one because she went to the library and learned all she needed to know and that she had aced the interview to get a job with a company like Pacific Gas and Electric but I'm not sure that's the company. I don't remember. She was incredibly talented and whatever she put her mind to she mastered. The last I heard of her, another friend and her husband had been invited to a posh beach party in Malibu. She told me that said acquaintance was wearing the tiniest bikini and looked great in it. She was a physical fitness buff. I'd say with plastic surgery and face lifts to make her look younger, Orly could be her except for the accent. The person I know would be in her seventies now. I just wonder. Could Orly be the biggest impostor of them all? I can't believe there are two on the face of this earth like them.

40. There is trouble in River City aka Laguna Niguel
Birther Defects
Members of the anti-Obama ‘eligibility’ movement are breaking their ties with Laguna Niguel attorney Orly Taitz......
In a Santa Ana federal courtroom on Sept. 8, Dr. Orly Taitz had a clear message for Judge David O. Carter: Lucas Smith, a witness whom she had brought from the Dominican Republic that morning, had to testify that day—before it was too late.

“The biggest issue we have today is that evidence is disappearing,” said the Laguna Niguel dentist, lawyer and real-estate agent who is attempting to sue President Barack Obama out of office. “We have a number of parties that had evidence, that had knowledge that might be detrimental to the defense, that were found dead. . . . We have the most important, the most crucial witness. We have to be able to work something that they can hear what he says, that you can hear what he says, that there is a record of it. . . . If, God forbid, something happens to this witness, at least we will have his testimony here.”

Carter didn’t oblige. After all, Taitz’s lawsuit against Obama hadn’t even reached the discovery stage, and the defense had been given no notice that she planned to call a witness that day. But Taitz ended up being right about one thing: Smith, who says he obtained Obama’s original birth certificate in Kenya, likely won’t get another chance to testify in Santa Ana. A week after the hearing, he says he has cut ties with Taitz because she asked him to lie under oath, making him the latest in a string of “birthers” to publicly criticize the woman who has become the face of the movement.
p://www.ocweekly.com/2009-09-24/news/birther-orly-taitz-barack-obama/

The OC published a lengthy and informative article on Orly in June of 2009 where states she immigrated from Israel in 1987.
