Thank you, Mr President, for putting yourself on the line for Chicago.
- You showed that you care for the working people of Chicago.
- You showed that you are strong enough to put politics and ago aside to take a shot at the prize.
- You showed that to get things done you have to roll up your sleeves, work hard and take risks.
- You showed that your talk to the school children of America about working for thier dreams and not being afraid to fail wasn't just talk.
- You showed up the Republicans who showed their hand by celebrating America's loss and putting their political ambitions ahead of the needs and ambitions of hard working, hurting Americans.

1. And fuck those who think that a losing effort is ipso facto a wasted effort.

6. I thought his remarks this afternoon were honest
and supportive of our country and Chicago.
He was very gracious to Rio ~ it's called building friendships.

That is something that has to be repaired in a big way after Buuuush!

7. So did I...
and I'm glad he congratulated Rio the way he did. What a gracious man-just the opposite of the Repubs.

9. I had not seen his statement when I posted this but I was sure he
would be a gracious loser. See Jackeens post showing pictures of Brazil's Prez with Obama. Says it all. Our President knows how to play fair.
