1. I think she will be a diva about it |
|
and hog as much attention as possible (she will, she won't, she might, she's open to the idea, she won't, she would run if drafted, etc.). She'll do this until the filing deadline in New Hampshire, and I think ultimately not run.

unless she has her own show by then. I don't think she's serious about politics (too much work), she thrives on the attention.

11. No. She was bored after only a month of campaigning last year. |
|
She doesn't have the work ethic to mount her own campaign, even if staffers only woke her for winks.
She's making real money these days, she thinks. No mere political office could tempt her now.

She will get more money and have more influence.
She will get a daily radio show and by a strange turn actually get the thanks of many for pushing Limbaugh aside and providing a more civil tone to the far right.

52. Well, she and Todd supported the Alaska Independence Party back in the day. |
|
And at the debate, her Alaska pin was above her American flag pin - implying that her loyalty was to Alaska, not the United States.
So maybe she will run as the AIP candidate. Who knows?

Palin is too competitive to not run. She has very little chance of becoming the nominee. She'll have the name recognition and star power to be a front runner but will fade as the primaries start (just like Giuliani).

Better to sit behind a microphone, camera, or write books filled with paranoia and outright lies.
That's where the money is on the other side of the aisle.

44. Yes and she will fail miserably. They will nominate |
|
someone more sane (on the GOP spectrum of sane that is) because the louder, angrier voices in their party will be drowned out by independents that will not have a Dem primary in some states. Maybe Mittens if he can sweep outside of the south, maybe Tpawlenty. Probably someone we are not considering.

55. She seems to picture herself in the White House, plus there's the |
|
ghost-written book due soon, so I guess she's in the mix.
But as a GOP candidate or as an independent?
Her best chance is to be the head of a third-party ticket, a shrill, far-Right nutbag party. I wonder if she is perceptive enough to understand that while she has some support in the Republican base and among certain high-profile kooks like Bill Kristol, there are as well a good number of GOP operatives who believe she would be a total disaster for them.
If she runs, and she seems inclined to, I think it will be as a third-party fringe effort.
