against Iraq and fuck them up along with the rest of the world for all eternity award.
Fuckers.
And take all sharp objects from Rove and Bush, and Bush's daddy, and mama Bush.
Shit, put them all in padded rooms with their neocon friends.

1. Nor is it called the "Encourage Colombian Civil War to Get Access to Canal" award |
|
Edited on Fri Oct-09-09 10:21 AM by SemiCharmedQuark
But Roosevelt got it.
I'm not sure where I stand on this. I suppose neutral. But when the Nobel Committee says "This prize has been given for X" that means it was really given for X, not any other factor. In this case I suppose their reasoning was encouraging international cooperation. Not Afghanistan. Not Iraq. Not U.S. Healthcare.

It wasn't denied Roosevelt because he had helped to encourage civil war to get a Canal. They gave it to him for a specific reason. It was not presented to him for 'Being Peaceful' in general, which some people seem to believe is the criteria.

Then I read it and realize it makes no sense, is poorly written and even more poorly thought out.

9. QUESTION: Why are some anti-war activists the most venomous, nasty, |
|
bitter, angry, meanest people you ever want to meet?
Don't ya'll think that's ironic? I'm just saying...

12. Because they live in a world that spits on peace? |
|
Because they watch as coffins keep coming and no one in power seems to give a shit, and frankly most people don't seem to? Because it is an apparently unwinnable position to oppose the military industrial complex? And because even Democrats are on board the war bus now that it's our guy calling the shots (literally)?
Maybe that would make a person frustrated eventually.

20. That is what I was sayin. MSNBC was reporting that this is a slap in the face |
|
to Bush co. That cracked me up because Bush has done more to wreck the world than just about anyone in recent decades. He was so bad that Obama simply not being Bush qualifies him for the award.
That shit is priceless. I can't imagine what Bush, Dick, and Rove are doing right now.
