And there are still 12 days to go in this month. Let us hope we don't see any more beheadings. This shit is getting worse by the minute over there. Why hasn't John Kerry come up with a strategy?? <sarcasm off>

Insurgents kill three Marines. In Baghdad, three civilians -- two Americans and one Briton -- are kidnapped from their home.

BAGHDAD - Iraqi insurgents pressed their assault on U.S. and allied forces Thursday as two Americans and a Briton were kidnapped from their Baghdad house and three Marines were killed, bringing the number of U.S. military deaths in the country this month to at least 52.

The brazen abduction of the employees of a Middle East-based construction firm continued a violent week that has left more than 200 Iraqis dead, and it followed a similar kidnapping of two Italian women from their office 10 days ago.

2. I was being facetious, nadin...
Indeed Kerry has more of a strategy than Bush, but shouldn't it be the other way around?? Shouldn't Bush be required to tell us what his long term strategy is in Iraq? Or has he already? Will we be there until we win or Iraq has a stable government? That could be a while.

5. 09.18.04: 1,163 in Iraq. 1,028 Americans.
This may help drive the reality of home to some people. I'll be updating this daily. The image below is low-resolution. High-resolution 8-1/2" x 11" PDF and JPEG versions can be downloaded from http://www.bigpath.net. People have been printing these and other similarly-themed pieces and handing them out at campaign events and meetings. Hope this helps accomplish something.

Especially Freepers. Apparently you're only supposed to "love thy neighbor" if he's white.
