Heads up... the next wave of angst from the GOP is starting.. the Obama enemies list
Dear God, can I get a witness here.. every week another oh no bomb.. this has got to top it.. of all the people in the world to accuse a party of an enemies list is the republicans.. especially after what they did with Clinton. Orly Taitz is in the batter box right now to do her time on Fox and how the Democrats have her on an enemies list. Mark it.

Senator urges Obama: Don't start enemies list

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – A top Republican invoked the memory of the scandal-marred Nixon administration on Wednesday to urge U.S. President Barack Obama to "back up" and not "start an enemies list."

Senator Lamar Alexander told Reuters he has begun to see the Obama White House adopting an attitude similar to that of the Richard Nixon White House four decades ago, that "everybody is against us and we are going to get them."

Alexander cited as examples the Obama administration's suggestion that it may support stripping the insurance industry of its exemption of federal anti-trust laws, its clash with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the president saying he will call out people who oppose him and boycott Fox News network.

their own Dick Nixon! What a hoot!
Uh - Lamar there is no comparison. Nixon was a paranoid basket case. Obama is being prudent.

6. My god, when till the GOP come up with a strategy that isn't straight out of the 90s
It's the same old Clinton era recycled RW echo chamber smear campaign.

While many Americans don't obsess about politics as we do here, it's going to become very obvious, very soon that the GOP has nothing but their old, tired 90s playbook that they used to try to bring down Clinton.

Getting very :boring:.......

8. Nope, Nixon broke the mold on the "enemies" list.
And generally the WH doesn't have to favor networks that cover them unfairly.

And how dare we oppose the insurance industry and the fact that they run roughshod over consumers. :sarcasm:

16. No coincidence at all. There's your source, and
I'm just dying to see someone hack into the talking points emails these slimeball Republicans send out each and every day.

I think that would be a great great story!

17. how dare he!
Obama has the nerve to use his power to influence people. How Nixonian of him. He should have done what all other presidents have traditionally done, which is just go along with their political opponents. Except Nixon, of course. And Hitler.

19. wait, that makes for an enemys list??? WTF?
"suggestion that it may support stripping the insurance industry of it exemption from........", "the clash with the U.S. C of C" and worst of all, "call out people that oppose him and boycott Fox News network".

let's see, the insurance companies have used thier exemption to screw the rest of us over the coals every which way from sunday and they enjoy doing it.
the c of c has been lying to us all along, kinda like the better business bureau, they aren't anything but a bunch of repuke butthaids that want everything their way, so sorry.

As far as the others, I say, call em out, it's about time, and the fox entertainment network, I never watch em anyway, so rupert can get his money elsewhere.

oh and btw, screw you Lamar Alexander. Isn't that one of trickydicks old cohorts? Jeez, are these guys vampires or something?

20. So a democrat actually goes on offense for once and the GOP get their knickers
tied up in a knot. Hillarious after all the aggressiveness the democrats have faced in the last 40 years.
