PUBLIC OPTION! woot! woot! PUBLIC OPTION! woot! woot!
It's gonna happen. Only if we keep raining down the scourge of the people's anger in sheer numbers. We must stay in contact with our senators and representatives. It is so damn easy. About 3 to 5 minutes of time AT MOST to have a thoughtful conversation with each of your senators and your representative.

While the tea baggers and birthers are clustering in front of Fox News cameras with their mock rage that is actually barely disguised fear about a black man as president, the REAL SILENT MAJORITY are persistently trying to work hard at their jobs, pay their mortages, care for their kids and ailing parents or whatever else our lives are about

AND WE'RE STANDING UP TO CORPORATE AMERICA!!! We know Bush's world of Everything, INC. is fucked up and we're calling people on it.

REID and company can get their "state opt out" plan if that's what they have to do. Baucus came kicking and screaming to finish the finance committee's bill. NOw he's fucking pissed that Reid is going to include the public option anyway.

I see a similar thing happening when the Senate and H.R. bills are reconciled in conference. The senators who thought they had cover will be screaming and having to answer to their insurance company paymasters when Pelosi and Obama get the strong public option they've been angling for all along.

THE FIREWORKS ARE JUST GETTING STARTED, FOLKS!

2. You just reminded me
of another trivial matter....checking out the Woot one day deal. It's a dorky watch. So,back to the important matters and to saving lives. Sending off another batch of e-mails. Even to Orrin Hatch. I haven't given up yet lol.

13. Generally electronics
http://www.woot.com/

One deal per day.

The buyers comments are entertaining and informative, as are the product decsriptions.

Every once in a while they have a woot-off. They sell off all the randome stuff, one batch at a time. They have one item called a random bag of crap. Cost is $1 (I think) you never know what it is until you get one. It's always worth more than $1, but some get flat panel tv's out of it, etc. Worth the effort to try and buy.

PS Yahoo in cahoots with Woot also has a one day deal.
http://shopping.yahoo.com/

today it's a teeny tiny touch screen note book for $399

7. It just needs to be strong enough to be able to BUILD upon... from what I'm hearing, the trigger
is all but out, and Pelosi's bill will have a "robust" public option, whatever that means. It just needs to be something to get our foot in the door, and then we can build upon it. With single payer dead on arrival (don't get me started), this is the BARE MINIMUM we can live with... a decent public option that we can build on. GREAT news.

12. Oh, absolutely. And that WILL be the challenge, or else EVERYONE will turn against it
immediately. It also depends upon what exactly the mandate will entail. I just hope it's able to do that at a minimum, and then be built upon in the near future (if that made sense).

10. I don't get it
Do you not think its important to ask what kind of public option?

This has been my consistent narrative. Reminding people to look for a devil in the details is not pissing on good news. Ive accepted a public option will be there for months, so I find it far more important to concentrate on its composition.
