I am weary of talking about healthcare.
I have been talking to everyone who I could interest in it for months.
I have argued and convinced and cajoled.
I have stuck to my views and listened to opposing views until I am worn out.
I am tired of this debate
Call me when they work it out... or refuse to... or screw things up further.

1. Don't waste your time and energy on the hardcores.

Surefire route to burnout. And they'll never be convinced anyway.

Talk to the folks on the fence. Much easier on the psyche -- and much more effective too.

We still have a way to go on this, so conserve your resources and press forward.

2. I empathise but...
It has been an opposition tactic to delay and drag this debate out long enough to produce the exact effect you are self reporting.

3. If that is the case, you should be congratulated for what you did

You worked to the point of essentially burning out on this - which means you really did a lot.

It might mean you really need to take a break from it. You may find that doing that and coming back to it refreshed will make it easier to rejoin the fight.
