Kerry needs to get there somehow but probably ought to wait until the debates. Let the failings of this admin in Iraq sink in the publics' consciousness for a few more weeks, then challenge Bush on stage and let him explain his actions.

Kerry has appeared on Imus for a long time, and was treated well. Once he ran for President, he started being criticized. Same treatment for McCain.
Imus is a shill. He knows Kerry is a decent man, yet can't resist repeating republican talking points. Imus now regularly has on a Boston based RW radio person - Jay Severin. Jay was on yesterday, Imus was loving the insults Jay was hurling at Kerry.
I listed to Severin driving home last night. He was singing a different tune - he is pretty unhappy with the diaster we have in Iraq.
