Kerry did not say draft likely if Bush elected. |
|
The headline on Drudge all day yesterday and repeated here was false. Kerry, when asked said " IS IT possible, I don't know " In one story his words were turned around to say " IT IS possible, I don't know " http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x886611http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A42196-2004Sep22.html?nav=rss_politicsI don't like someone putting a false headline on a story, no matter who it is.

1. Well its most likely true regardless...I'd like to have Bush refute it |
|
at a news conference instead of it automatically raising such skepticism.

2. I agree, it most likely is true, but we can't let |
|
someone write a headline that misrepresents what is in the article. That is my whole point. It has nothing to do with the subject of the article.

6. So, what's Drudge's veracity factor? |
|
.00001 percent?
Remember, the "Gore/Clinton trashing the White House offices" story originated on Drudge's site.
Then it was reported in the Washington Times, with the Drudge site being the "source".
Then it went to the rest of the media, reporting the source as the Washington Times, conveniently leaving off the Drudge site.
Finally, Drudge reports the media reporting what he made up. But he doesn't mention that he was the originating source . . .
