What happened to the "Truth Tests" that they use to run on TV?

What happened to the "Truth Tests" that they use to run on TV?
The old media would run a test while a person was speaking like "President Clinton" and they would see if he was telling the truth by the tone of his voice. It was a little box at the bottom of the screen and it would either go into the lie zone or the truth zone.

Does anyone else remember these tests and why can't we get one ran while the Right Wingers are on TV talking about how honest they are?
