The Repugs aren't proud of B* as in 2000; they're defensive of him |
|
this time around. There is a whole different tenor to Repugs this cycle.
Four years ago there were bumper stickers for B*/c EVERYWHERE (and I live in Mass) yard signs, people wearing buttons for him.I live in a repug leaning area of Mass.(Yes, there is such a thing.)
If B* had done anything that these people could point to with pride, believe me, they would like nothing better than to tweek Kerry here.IT ISN"T HAPPENING.
I'm anticipating quite a few blanks in the choice for President in my little corner of the world. They can't vote for B* but also can't bring themselves to vote for Kerry.Maybe there will be a big jump in Libertarian votes.

here in CA since chimp went up in the polls. Before the repig convention I didn't hardly see a one cause I guess the repigs thought they had a loser and were to ashamed to let anyone know who they supported.
