MSNBC: Kerry concedes Missouri
I was watching Hardball tonight and a reporter named Priyad David came on and she actually made that statement that the Kerry campaign "has all but conceded Missouri."

Where is this horseshit coming from?

On edit, I don't watch television news anymore whether its network or cable. Every once in a while I'll watch Olberman or Lou Dobbs.

4. When Al Franken was on David Letterman last time...
... he said something along the lines that when he quotes a labor statistic, he gets the statistic from the Department of Labor, but when Rush quotes statistics, he pulls them out of the "Department of Rush Limbaugh's Butt". Well, that's what they're all doing, I think. It's really weird!

35. BS

Bill O'Reilly's radio show had ratings in the dumper, it survived. Meanwhile, Donohue had the highest rated show on MSNBC and it got canned.

Markets can be manipulated. This idea that the media Mecca "responds to consumer demand" is a load of idealistic horseshit.

Bush provacative? Is that a joke?

Kerry boring? Read his speech from yesterday. Not a damn thing boring about it. It was a work of brilliance.

15. We don't need any stinking TV ads here in Missouri
We are working our asses off one block at a time and the Kerry campaign has a great staff here. They just add 20 full timers 2 weeks ago. We don't pay much attention to polls and media b.s. as we are the Show Me State and have a November surprize for awol.

then why did cheney make an appearance in St. Joseph, MO just yesterday?

then why is Campaign Kerry in the process of hiring 25 more full-time staffers in Missouri?

Priyad David just did a little audition for Fox News, that's all.

Bush pulls out of Arkansas and its because he is winning?

Do they think people won't vote Kerry because we think its over? NOTHING will prevent me from voting...I don't give a shit if polling the day before said Bush 99%, Kerry 1%...I WILL speak my voice and so will my fellow-Americans.

We will have our say

..shit, about the outcome. This is what pisses me off when I hear democrats attacking third party candidates. The third party candidates are bringing NEW voters into the equation. Maybe they won't vote for your guy this time....but down the road they'll still be voting, and you'll have ample opportunity to make your case.

On the other hand, they voted over 70% for a constitutional amendment banning same sex marriage.

27. New media fund ad on TV
Just saw a Bush and the Saudi's are too close for comfort ad on the TV. Oh and by the way last night at the phone bank Kerry had 45% support of people called here in southwest Missouri. Gore pulled 35% in 2000.
I would be the last one who would spread gossip but It would be awful if the Baptists in the 7th congressional district were to find out that brother Roy Blunt has recently had a divorce and has married a member of another faith who is a tobacco lobbyist for Phillip Morris. So if any of you know any members of the Baptist faith or people living in the Springfield area please do not call them and let them know the shameful details as we all know how such terrible rumors can spread like wildfire among the brethren.

The Media Fund, an independent pro-Democrat group, has launched a $250,000, one-week blitz on St. Louis stations of two ads attacking President George W. Bush.

The ads began running Thursday, and will air only in St. Louis, Washington and on national cable stations, said fund President Erik Smith in a telephone interview.

38. Missouri will go Kerry!
In the summer I was convinced Missouri would come through, than a few weeks ago I went to a little country fair and all I saw were Bush stickers. That's not true anymore though! I had noticed that there were far, FAR more Kerry signs (and dem signs in general) being displayed in my area so I did a little investigating. The dem headquarters here is not out there actively trying to place signs, so people that are displaying the signs either came in themselves and picked them up, or ordered them from some other source. It doesn't matter whether you are in the wealthiest parts of town, or the poorest parts....the Kerry signs and stickers still drastically outnumber anything Bush. My town has about 20,000 people in it, so we're not one of the urban areas that the dems expect to win in Missouri. We can always count on Kansas City and St. Louis, but it's always been the rest of the state that did us in. If towns like mine can help out the cities a little we'll pull this off yet.

47. I wish Missouri would secede from the States.
And yes, I've lived in "Misery" my entire life, so I can say that.

I hate it here (in St.Joseph, where Crashcart visited yesterday and I protested). My Grandma has had her car keyed since she put a Kerry/Edwards sticker on it, and all four of my neighbors on all sides (as well as just the great majority as I drive down around) have every single Repub sign known to man in their yards. (Yet, most of them are unemployed currently because they've all lost their jobs to outsourcing.)

I've been called names I hadn't heard in all 20 years of my life when driving in my car with K/E sticker and because of my K/E buttons on my purse. It's disgusting how stupid people are around here.

Thank GOD I leave for London tomorrow for 3 months (And yes, I've already voted in-person absentee -- did so on Tuesday!)

I'm optimistic about the election overall, I really think we're going to win. But, Missouri is almost a lost cause for humanity, let alone politics.

50. They've conceded multiple states on behalf of Kerry

I've heard CNN and MSNBC both conceding multiple states for Kerry.

Funny whenever they ask anyone from the KErry campaign the response is "WTF are you talking about! We're still actively campaigning and advertising in all those states!"

Doesn't matter to the slimy right wing media. They're determined to put Bush in the white house with their lies.
