Kerry Wrote the Dynamite Line--He Needs to Use It in the Debates!!
You know how once in awhile you hear a line that is like a photo---worth a zillion words?? Well, Kerry has one and needs to use it in the debates.

A few days ago in his "terrorism/Iraq" speech he was talking about how Bush says it doesn't make any difference who is president because our allies won't help in Iraq, and those that hate us won't change, etc. Then Kerry said a line that brought people to their feet. (Paraphrasing) he said "just because Bush can't do it, doesn't mean it can't be done"!! That applies across the board to everything!!!---it goes to the heart of the propaganda that George is God and that no one can do better. It reminds people that there are viable alternatives to Bush.

A corporation does not accept some employee who reports that "I tried and failed and therefore it can't be done". They find someone else who at least thinks differently and tries. John has to use his line on Bush in these debates....that line says what volumes of arguments could not say.

4. I also love the recent Eliot Spitzer quote
"We have never seen a party do so much for so few, who need so little," added state Attorney General Eliot Spitzer..."

7. It's brilliant for this reason:
Democrats assume the sheeple will form the logical conclusion "If Bush can't do it, maybe someone else can". But poll after poll is showing us the sheeple have been terrified into NOT forming that conclusion. Bush has convinced them he is the only one who can protect them. Kerry is only now starting to challenge this directly.

"Just because Bush can't do it, doesn't mean it can't be done"

9. "nothing's perfect" Rumsfeld quote
shown on the Daily Show last night, when he was speaking about the Iraq elections and level of violence still occuring. what a cop-out line, unbelievable. It's like a student who gets a D saying he deserves an A-, maybe a B+, because really now, "nothing's perfect" and blame the textbooks or teacher, or other students. ok I'm stop with the analogy, but you get the point. why don't rethugs get the point, then? What does it take??

10. A preview of the debate:
Moderator: Mr. President, some say that the war in Iraq is not going well, that many of our soldiers are dying, and that it is a quaqmire. What is your response?

Bush: Well, heh, we got Saddam, heh, and now we're uh, much safer. War is hell, heh, and some have to pay the price for our, freedom. Quaqmire? No, it's just that we can't, uh, can't stop the terrorists who are trying to stop us from bringing, uh, freedom, and, uh, democracy to the Iraqi people.

Kerry: Just because YOU can't stop them, George, doesn't mean that it can't be done! When I am president, we will go into their enclaves with force, and clean them out! Then I will get the United Nations involved in the peace keeping, bring our troops home, and let the Iraqis solve their own problems.

Moderator: Mr. President, you once said that getting Osama Bin Laden was of primary importance; but later you said that this does not matter. What is your view of Bin Laden now?

Bush: Well, heh, we got Saddam, heh, and now we're uh, much safer.
Bin Laden is just one man, and we can't catch every terrorist. He has been marginalized though, heh, so he is not a threat now.

Kerry: Just because YOU can't find him, George, doesn't mean that he can't be found! When I am president, we will intensify our efforts in Afghanistan, and with Pakistan's cooperation we will catch Bin Laden and his gang, and bring them to justice!
