I personally know FOUR first-time voters |
|
2 newly-naturalized, one just old enough, one previously-apathetic. Two solidly in our camp and two on the fence, however, with me working on them, probably in our camp.
And, I have personally registered many many more.
How about you? Report!

Our small volunteer group has done maybe 350 dem and indy registrations. But that counts address changes, too. Not all will turn out, but we will call/mail them all asking them to please please vote and vote dem.
I know at least three young first time voters that will be voting for Kerry this election as a result of my husband's efforts. Plus he gave out draft flyers for them to give to their friends.
The cutest young single woman who works out at my gym is a crazy dem. She 26, long blonde hair, wears spike heels, jeans and tiny tops when she goes out at night. Anyway, I have sicced her on all the doofus young guys who are planning to vote for Bush. Said go flirt with guy a, b, and c, tell them you support Kerry and that you only date dems

But, man was he a tough nut to crack! It took us all weekend to get him. With our influence and more importantly his new wife's influence he will be a Kerry voter.
On another note, with all of these record voter registrations, doesn't that mostly benefit Kerry? Or do you think there are tons of people out there registering to keep * (as disgusting as that may seem to me)?
My guess is that more likely than not, people are registering to get rid of the idiot. What is the impression you're getting?
Also, I've been seeing that many who are not yet registered, feel like it won't make a difference to them one way or the other. For them, finding an issue that will effect them is essential.
