Voter's choice: Slightly bad dream or nightmare

To the editor:

If you are undecided about the Presidential election, ask yourself this question: Who would the enemies of America vote for? Would Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein vote for John Kerry or President Bush. Of course they would vote for Kerry, a man who carefully examines every side of an issue and then firmly takes a stand behind all of them.

And remember, with JFK you also get the added bonus of a personal injury lawyer only a heartbeat away from the Oval Office who will sue the pants off all those nasty Terroists.

It is getting ridiculos that some politically correct socialists want to take away everything that represents this country. Look at Mel Gibson who was demonized for making the greatest movie ever about our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, while the trash-mouth, smut-peddler, Hollywood types and liars like Micheal Moore are held in the highest esteem.

Will they get Pancho Villa's birthday named as a national holiday? Will they not continue to remove Confederate Flags but go after "Old Glory" and replace it with the "rainbow flag." Will they replace Easter with Earth Day and make Christmas a "Hate Crime." Will they demand that Thanksgiving be recast as a "day of shame".

No, I don't approve of abortion, illegal immigration, Patriot Act and the Mc Cain Feingold Law that basically throws the U.S. Constitution into the trash can. President Bush is no great midnight dream, but John Kerry is a nightmare! Would you rather wake up after election day to a nightmare or a slightly bad dream? Let the President finish the job on the terrorists. Vote Bush, Cheney. Forbes 04. Have a Dixie Day!

Bob Kline

1. Look at what each man has done
1. Bush has not supported the troops. He has cut benefits to disabled veterans, and has proposed shutting down VA hospitals. Since his "Mission Accomplished" stunt, troops don't get combat pay. He cut benefits to military families, and now he's sending reserve units to Iraq without any weapons.

Kerry has consistantly supported veterans. He spoke out against the Viet Nam war, has worked to find POWs and to do something about Agent Orange.

2. Bush has trashed environmental laws, starting with leaving the Kyoto Treaty. Kerry has 100% pro-environment voting record.

Hope these ideas help get you started. You might also talk about Kerry's plans for health care and small busniess, contrasting them with what Bush has done.

2. John Kerry and John Edwards have a proven track record of FIGHTING
for what is right. John Kerry did so when he went to Vietnam, and when he became disillusioned, he fought to end that war. John Edwards has gone to bat fighting for the ordinary person in their struggles against the negligent corporations in America.

3. Bush failed to stop the terrorists
And now the world is less safe than ever, thanks to Bush's juvenile response of stomping on the fire ant hill.

And what does Mr. Kline think of Acts 4:32-37, since he seems to dislike socialists so much? Does he hate the apostles, too?

4. If you are undecided you must realize that in spite of the promises * has
made he has failed to find the terrorist. He's even in the wrong country. Could this be because *'s family is close with OBL's. How is this making anyone safer here in America when the terrorist can do what they did in Russia. How can you possibly feel safe.

6. I noticed he HAD to bring up Jesus, but only in the context of films and
not how Bu$h emulates the Lord. (As if!)

If you are looking for any thoughts on that subject, there are some interesting liberal political Chrisitian websites linked on my site.

And God told His children: "I love you. Play nice."

Would Jesus love a liberal? You bet!

7. Personally, I'd try something like this...
Bob Kline....Bad Dream or Nightmare?

"If you are undecided about the Presidential (sic) election, ask yourself this question: Who would the enemies of America vote for?" Would Moqtada al-Sadr and Abu Musab al-Zarqawi vote for John Kerry or President Bush? Of course they would vote for Bush - a man whose failure to consider the consequences of his actions has led to the single most successful recruiting campaign either of their organizations has ever before witnessed.

And remember, with GWB you also get the added bonus of a 'behind the scenes operator' willing to award the future of America's children to energy companies (like Enron), Haliburton, and the top 2% of America's wealthy. It is getting ridiculous that some conservative religious extremists want to take away everything that represents this country. Look at Micheal Moore who was demonized for making a movie expressing his opinion (a right granted to him by the first amendment of the US Constitution), while the trash-mouth, smut-peddler, propoganda types and liars like Limbaugh are held in the highest esteem by these same individuals.

Will they get Reagan's likeness on a bill or a coin? Will they not continue to promote Confederate Flags and go after the "rainbow flag" as a threat to "Old Glory"? Will they replace Thanksgiving with Intolerance Day and make Christmas a "Day of Hate"? Will they demand that only Christians can be true Americans and that the Fourth of July become a national day of prayer?

Yes, I believe in freedom of choice, diversity, America as a land of opportunity (for all, not just the top 2% of the tax bracket and their progeny), and all the rights and liberties granted to us in the U.S. Constitution. John Kerry is not a man who finds it easy to express his innermost thoughts in a passionate, eloquent delivery. But would you rather wake up after November 2 to the slightly bad dream of a president with an 'aloof' demeanor, or the nightmare of an impulsive belligerent president implementing a draft. Tell President Bush he had his chance. Vote Kerry / Edwards. 2004
