Who gives a rats a** about debate rules?
Look, the dems basically took what seems like a poison pill with the debates: wacky rules about podiums, warning lights for overtime, etc. My question is "WHY SHOULD KERRY CARE?"

Kerry should directly confront Bush*, force him to answer questions. What the hell is that dumb mutherf'er going to do, say "nya nya nya you broke the rules?" He'll look like more of a idiot than he already is. This is Kerry's shot. He needs to be controlled, aggressive, and get in this cowards face.

1. Ha! I agree...
What I wouldn't give for JK to say " Screw the f'ing rules. America is tired of your bullshit. Tell everybody exactly why we're in Iraq, and don't friggin' say the war on terrorists!!!! Tell 40% of America why they don't have health care. etc etc
I believe it would get him elected. That's what most would understand.
ha :)

2. "Tell you what, George...
...if you can go these 90 minutes without saying the phrase 'War on Terra' or smirking ingratiatingly at the audience, I'll give you $100."

OK, you know what? It's time to have a real debate. Let's go mano a mano...unless, you're not up to it, Mr President.

5. This is not a debate
It is a side-by-side press conference. We deserve much more in these troubling times.

6. Yes, I've thought the same. Kerry should challenge Bush to ask him questio
ns and vice-versa. If Shrub declines, it will make him look like a punk. Although, he should do this in another debate. He doesn't want to cut the 'people' out in this townhall "debate".
