Hopsicker vs. Ruppert
I've been waiting for this...Daniel Hopsicker rocks his ass off, once again.

~~~~~~~~
Which is where Internet Pontificator Mike Ruppert comes in. Called a “rebel without a rebellion” by Fintan Dunne of www.breakfornews.com, we have discovered that
When questioned about it, Ruppert resorted to threats of lawsuits.
We of course immediately wanted, to know more. After He attempted to bully a researcher friend of ours with threats of lawsuits after she wrote what looks surprising like the God's-Own Truth.
1. I just finished reading Hopsicker's article, and he REALLY brings...
...the hammer down on Ruppert!
Excellent writing from Hopsicker, as usual. I just wish someone would help him proofread.
4. Hopsicker is a great investigative journalist
I think he'll get to the bottom of 9/11 someday. IF he's not suicided first.
Yes, he could use a proofreader. He's fighting a lawsuit from Roy Fugler, mentioned in the last paragraph. Hopsicker was digging into his ties with Adnan Khashoggi.
2. More:
~~~~~~~~

"And some of that money made its way into Mike Ruppert’s pocket. Now only that but he endorse the group on his website.

We were—how can we say this—shocked! Lucy sure has some ''spraining to do.

But we confess we were not surprised at all to find that money from the group had also made its way into the pockets of former Bush Administration factotum Catherine Austin Fitts, who runs in 'illustrious' company.

Catherine, after all, was workin' for Bush before workin' for Bush was cool."

3. I thought Hopsicker and Ruppert were kind of in collaboration?
I thought those two were working WITH each other?

Did I imagine that or did they have a falling out?

Years ago I thought Hopsicker needed to lay down his bong and get out in the sunlight...but to my utter horror it has become more and more apparent over the last couple of years that he isn't a "conspiracy nut"!

I was certainly happier when I thought he was! :(

5. He mentioned once that he and Ruppert were friends
He doesn't like the people Ruppert got involved with and sold out to. They're criminals with ties to BFEE.

I've been reading both of them from the beginning, before 9/11, and I don't think they ever worked together.

8. They did collaborate on at least one piece:
Why Does George W. Bush Fly in Drug Smuggler Barry Seal's Airplane? by Daniel Hopsicker and Michael C. Ruppert
http://www.fromthewilderness.com/free/ciadrugs/W_plane.html

I think Hopsicker is largely pissed at Ruppert for all his attention to Peak Oil. In a recent interview with Fintan Dunn on Break for News, Hopsicker called Ruppert "Mr Peak Oil," and said he ought to be putting his detective experience to better use.

I'd like to agree with both of them. In solving any crime, it's important to establish motive, and that's what Ruppert has been doing with his pursuit of the peak oil issue. And nobody has done the on-the-ground investigative work that Hopsicker has. He can't do it all himself; he needs some company.

I would echo much of what Hopsicker says about the "9/11 Truth Movement." I attended the Toronto conference and a few other gatherings. Before each, I think I should invite somebody, and afterward think omigod, I'm so glad I went alone. With few exceptions, the level of discourse and the critical thinking on display is an embarrassment. And I feel Hopsicker's pain, that the soft-headed The New Pearl Harbor is hailed as the 9/11 book, while his vastly superior Welcome to Terrorland is largely ignored (at least in North America - it's received much more attention in Germany).

Ruppert is doing good work, and I look forward to Crossing the Rubicon. I hope someday for a rapprochement between Ruppert and Hopsicker, but I really don't care, so long as they keep doing good work, and we reap the benefit.

10. Your memory is better than mine! n/t
IMO, Ruppert has tarnished his reputation by involving himself with scam artists.

6. Well, this is a disillusioning day. Who the hell do you believe?
I have been reading Ruppert since 1997 or thereabouts. And I have read Hopsicker too. Catherine Austin Fitts has been featured on Pacifica Radio on more than a few occasions. I don't know.

7. I lean towards Hopsicker
No one else researches the people he has. He's come up with some amazing scoops over the years and he's never been debunked, not once.

I suppose if you would dig into Ruppert's ties with that company, you would find the same info.

9. I can believe both.
I don't think Ruppert and Fitts are false friends. I think their business association with a glorified pyramid scheme reflects poor judgement, but nothing more.

But Hopsicker's right, there are false friends, and the "9/11 Truth Movement" is spiraling into silliness and irrelevance chasing pods and missiles.
