Bush lying about the rate of inflation |
|
Anyone listening to the caller who just talked to Ed Schultz?
The caller said that he believe the biggest lie the Bush administration is telling is regarding their economic plan.
Saying that they are saying (and I presume calculating based on the assumption) in their plan that inflation is 2%.
The caller claimed that he believed it was at close to 10% in reality.
It was just a caller (no creditials that I know of), but I'm curious what the econonmy experts here can share on this point.
Is Bush using bogus assumptions about the rate of inflation to make his economic package look better?
What is the actual inclation rate?
Is Kerry doing the same thing?
Just wondering.
