Cheney was against the Iraq war before he was for it
politicalwire.com has unearthed an interview with VP Cheney where he says that invading Iraq and toppling Saddam wouldn't be worth it.

2. Refers to first Gulf War
Said taking out saddam was not worth many american lives - he was defending decision not to go to badhad in campaign speech.

What's the difference between then and now? Can anyone say 'Halliburton' and 'war profits'? He wasn't head of Halliburton back then. Ed Shulz has this on his show.
