Businesses supporting Bush/Cheney
In our area,(SE Michigan) there are an awful lot of Jackson Hewitt tax offices with Bush-Cheney signs. Anyone else noticing that? Is there a list of consumer companies who are publicly supporting candidates -- I want to vote with my wallet, too...

1. A real estate office here had a big BUSH sign out front
I phoned them and said I was listing my house but because of their political views I would not be considering their services. The sign went down the next day. :)

5. A local restaurant chose to put a sign out
back right after the invasion of Iraq, saying 'we support our troops and President Bush(sic)'

Mr. Nownow and I decided we supported other restaurants. We didn't bother to tell them -- but we have noticed that the only night the lot is packed, anymore, is Saturday night. They used to be packed from front to back Thursday through Sunday. Guess we aren't the only ones who decided to support other local restaurants.

11. A local health food store used to have some
"Support our troops and President Bush" signs. I never shopped there again. Talk about alienating your clientele.

14. That IS stupid,
I think health food stores are mostly a "lefty" thing, a *bush sign has got to turn away a lot of their clientele.

16. Wal-Mart, of course...
They're a direct beneficiary of Bush's "outsource jobs, degrade the middle class" program.
