Oklahoma and Alaska President and Senate Numbers |
|
October 2 Numbers for these states.
Earlier I posted Colorado, but here they are again; Bush 48% to Kerry 44%; Senate, Salazar (D) 50% to Coors (R) 46%
Oklahoma, Bush 64% to Kerry 30%; Senate Carson (D) 48% to Coburn (R) 44%
Alaska, Bush 55% to Kerry 39%; Senate, Knowles (D) 47% to Murkowski (R) 44%.
If, by chance, that asshole in the White House gets to stay on, if the Dems can capture the Senate, we may see another Nixon second term. First, they arrest the VP, then a resignation in disgrace of a piece of shit President.
If the Repukes can't carry Senate seats in Alaska and Oklahoma, they're in real trouble holding the Senate.
I want it all, the Presidency, the Senate and the House. But at the very least, let's get something this time.

He is a DINO, at best, and it is possible he will switch parties once in office. His record is VERY conservative. He would still be better than Coburn, who is a lunatic.

3. I'm sure if he had a more liberal record, |
|
he'd be doing much better in the election. Those Oklahomans just looooove liberals.

6. Carson is not going to switch parties |
|
and although he is not a leftie, he is certainly better than all the other Oklahoma House members. His ADA rating is 65% which doesn't put him in the DINO catagory http://www.adaction.org/2003housevr.htmPlease go there and study the votes and the vote descriptions. His planned parenthood rating is 80%.

2. Those senate numbers look nice |
|
We really really need Oklahoma and Alaska if we are to take back the Senate. Especially Oklahoma, so wingnut Rick Santorum wannabe Tom Coburn doesn't get in.

4. On the other hand, if Kerry wins and we don't take |
|
back at least one of the houses, they might throw Kerry out.

7. They couldn't do it with 55 republicans before. |
|
They need 67 republicans to remove Kerry without an actual cause. That's even counting the four northeastern republicans who voted against removing Clinton (Snowe, Collins, Chaffee, and Specter, with Jeffords no longer in that group).

10. I find it difficult to understand the logic used in those polls. |
|
I find it hard to believe they would vote for a Democratic Senator but yet vote for Bush*. Most everyone I know is embarrassed by Bush*. I just don't understand.
