Bush The Serial Exaggerator (or liar) -let's fight fire with fire!
There goes Bush in the debate, exaggerating and/or lying to try to make the mess he created in Iraq look like a success. Al Gore would never have gotten away with this...so let's play this up!

================

"There's 100,000 troops trained: police, guard, special units, border patrol. There's going to be 125,000 trained by the end of this year."

President George W. Bush
Presidential Debate
September 30th, 2004

And then this from Reuters, out today ...

But many of these assertions have met with scepticism from key lawmakers, congressional aides and experts, and Pentagon documents, given to lawmakers and obtained by Reuters, paint a more complicated picture.

The documents show that of the nearly 90,000 currently in the police force, only 8,169 have had the full eight-week academy training. Another 46,176 are listed as "untrained," and it will be July 2006 before the administration reaches its new goal of a 135,000-strong, fully trained police force.

1. Bush threatened to VETO money for the troops!
Bush threatened to veto money for the troops if it was passed with the Kerry amendment which called for the 87 billion to be paid for by repealing Bush's tax cuts to those making more than 400K and added accountability that the 20 billion of reconstruction funds wouldn't be Halliburton hand outs.

2. The Farfetched Claim I especially liked was
'over 10 million are registered to vote in Afghanistan'

...the problem being, there are so very many registered voters because most have registered to vote multiple times!!!

Crazy, crazy Fubya... what he won't say!
