On the "coalition with Iraqis" |
|
How is it possible to count the Iraqis and their casualties as the member of your coalition???? Wouldn't you need to add the casualties of the resistance? They are Iraqis and they are dying in the war. Add to that Saddam's sons. They died in the war.
Then may be you should consider the civilian population too. Hey, our casualties percentage is not that great then!
:wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf:

1. This thought has been going through my head all morning as well... |
|
How does one tell the difference? If we count civilian casualties...heck, we're a drop in the big coalition bucket. :hi:

2. I was wondering that too... is he counting people we bombed? |
|
What a sad, desperate attempt to spin away the number of soldiers lost in this mindless war.

3. Cheney's math was just another big FU to anyone who died. |
|
Republican math.
Oh, my head! It is too early for republican math.

5. As far as I know, they haven't counted Iraqi casualties. |
|
In fact, if I recall correctly, they weren't at all concerned with a body count.

6. On just a logical note |
|
That answer did not fly with a lot of voters. They're concerned with AMERICAN troops, not other f'erriners. Nope, that answer actually hurt him, IMHO, not from a numbers point of view, but from a PATRIOTIC point of view.

7. Iraqi are fighting for their lives--they are victims |
|
Saying that they are part of our "coalition" demeans their predicament. Our war has placed them in danger and turned their society upside down. After Cheney admitted that the war had nothing to do with al Qaeda, he should admit that the war turned Iraqis into victims of terrorism.

8. And the teenage boy who died with Uday and Qusay. That always disgusted me |
|
--that there was no regret expressed for the innocent boy who died in that raid. They were too concerned with parading fixed-up corpses on television and gloating about it. That was the first of many times my government shamed me.
