Cheney Defended a Weak Position with Tenacity

However, he was unable to frame any reason that Bush/Cheney should be reelected, giving Edwards's substance to Edwards's charge that they offer "more of the same."

Edwards had to dodge charges of inconsistency, but he more than held his own, delivered some serious blows (eg, Cheney's voting record), and gave the American people something to hope for.
