Stop watching CNN and MSNBC
Edited on Wed Oct-06-04 01:20 PM by kerryin2004
I know it is hard for everyone..I occasionally have to bite my finger to keep from turning it, but we must spread the message to not watch these assholes..ASk yourself this..If the Clinton admin had been as corrupt as the Bush admin would the media have given him a free pass?? They are trying to get their boy king elected again, and they are absolutely no friend to democrats.

Faux news is in great shape because they own the dittoheads, but we can do something about CNN and MSNBC, and it must be done.. When you feel the urge to turn them on just go to Air America instead..Allowing the media to continue to be the bitch for the Bush admin is like conceding the election to Bush..We want the truth and we should expect the truth, and until these bastards start getting the same kind of reporting that we all can find on the internet, we must stop watching..

We shouldn't have to watch The Daily Show to see an actual network showing Cheney's lies.. We shouldn't have to go to a fucking comedy show to see real news..The only way to correct them is to hit them where it hurts, their advertisers..Stop watching and the advertisers will go away!

3. you got it!
sign up for the cheapest form of cable, which will give you the networks and cspan. When they call and call and call to get you to re-up, tell them loudly that you will not support repub news cables. Period. Get a netflix membership. (I just got my copy of Hunting of the Pres today!!!!) Sorry to keep reposting this (it seems like i do everyday), but truly, it is the only power I personally have. Imagine that power times by half of the population of America.

4. CNN, yes. MSNBC, no.
I don't usually watch news during the day, but I have today. Several times today, Brian Williams has talked about Cheney's false statements last night.

And, I'm not giving up watching Countdown with Keith Olberman. My thinking is to give Keith lots of positive feedback from all of us....send the message that we want more like him.

5. Where do you suggest we get our news from? Fox.
I have stopped watching CNN after the DNC and switched to MSNBC. I feel betrayed by CNN . After Ted left it changed into FOX lite. So now it's MSNBC are no news during the day.

11. Listen to Air America on the radio..
Get it online.. Your addicted to the news, but there are plenty of other sources to get your fix..As much as I like a couple of the MSNBC guys, Olberman's countdown, and I really loved Crossfire, I am not going to watch them. Until they start reporting the news, instead of the GOP talking points I will tune them out!

13. Thanks for the suggestions. I am a news junkie.
I live in fly-over country. In the heart of the Bible belt in East Texas. I have a satellite and a dial up on my computer, and no Air America.

7. It's already done
I turned CNN's bullshit off about a month ago and haven't had it on since. You know, I haven't missed it for a second. CNN is nothing but a cheerleading station for Bush* and his cronies. I HATE CNN.

10. I'm with you. They're working to keep the coWard in office, and why
shouldn't they -- he's the corporate pimps' best friend. You won't find me watching it unless there's breaking news.

14. Actually, MSNBC has become fairly good over the last few months
and I do watch them because I want to support their efforts. CNN has become rediculous and MSNBC must have caught on and decided to do a little Dem pushing and some balanced news. I don't watch Matthews anymore because he's become totally loonie---never know what's going to happen. Do like Olberman. But, in general, during the day MSNBC has really shaped up. I think that's why it is now beating CNN which is floundering on the bottom.
