Although I grew up for the most part in Northern CA and living in the South for ten years, I'm moving to the LA area the end of June. Is there any temporary-type housing in the Santa Monica area to live while I'm looking for a apartment?
Also would like to get involved in Democratic groups, if you know of any.
I'm a young girl in my early twenties and would appreciate any tips or advice.

I don't know what part of the state you will be in but although San Diego is generally conservative, there are a lot of areas that are predominantly liberal by far.

(a little bit lost) unless have to. It might attract the wrong kind of character. Those three things are a green light to a freak.
