Arnie isn't to bad. Hell, I'll even cross party lines and say Grey Davis was worse. We can do better then Arnie but at least he's pro-choice and he has worked with the State Assembly to reduce the deficit considerably. I'm wondering which Democrats will run against him next election because they may not automatically get my vote; I'm naturally leaning that way but I want to make sure he's not another Grey Davis and that he actually has some good ideas on how to run the state better.

I still don't like how Arnie has been accepting campaign contributions from companies he's supposed to be regulating. I also don't like how he was working for dietary suppliment companies which the governor is supposed to over see and which he had been helping with vetos.
That doesn't excuse how Democrats like former governor Gray Davis was excepting money from the Prison Guard Union while he was responsible for negotiating with them over wages and benefits. I honestly think the best possible solution is to have publically financed campaigns and take all the money out of politics because money seems to be the corrupting force in our nations politics. Most of the screwed up things which happen in government typically happen because some moneyed interest has been paying off politicians in order to get political favors. I wish we could but I don't see that problem being solved.
