10. I JUST saw this on home page... A DU campout??

I live in Santa Cruz CA. I know the park pretty well. I don't think I can "campout" since I'm in too much pain and all that...but what a hoot!!

Don't know what you all are going to do, but I'm sure it will be a remarkable time. Some might enjoy Boulder Creek for a "refreshment" etc...

13. Actually I'm in Sacramento

I tried to get everybody to come up here, but strangely no one wanted to deal with the heat, mosquitos, traffic, celebrity governors and other inconveniences the area has to offer. :)

It's usually "warm" and dry in the upper Santa Cruz mountains but it might be just right at this time of year. Not too cold, not too hot. But bring mosquito repellent just in case...

BEEEE U TIFUL Redwood trees to go with. How many have signed up so far?

For those from Santa Cruz area without cars; there USED to be one bus in and out for the day that snaked around through the moutains up to the Park. Don't know if it's still on line...especially with our current bus strike. Check it out. Actually, I can ask S.O. who did volunteer work with transit for years...he'd know.
