2. Great pictures. That's one of my favorite beaches.

3. Boy, that was fast. I just got home. I'm in the group, but someone

taller is standing in front of me. But one of the two 13-year-olds I took along is in the photos. There was a reporter from the San Diego Union/Tribune who took her picture and asked me whether it was okay to print her picture tomorrow. I said yes.

It was a lovely vigil on the beach. There was a section outside of the circle that had some crosses with candles and names of some dead soldiers. As soon as I saw that, I started to cry. It was very moving.

-law).

Picture number 2 shows Seabiscuit's wife (in center of picture with red jacket and white shirt, holding candle, just to left of lady in blue jacket) and her father (grey hair in green jacket just above head of lady in blue jacket).

Seabiscuit appears in Picture number 4 in green "save our oceans" t- shirt (top of head above lady in yellow in center of picture) and Seabiscuit's wife and father-in law are to the right of him in this picture.

It wasn't our first vigil/anti-war appearance, but it was a new experience for my father-in-law.

as we were getting into our cars. Your wife asked about the camera lady that looked like she was from the news and asked her name?
We were parked on the street?

I really like the pictures you took of the vigil on Moonlight Beach. We checked the local papers today and none of the ones that camera lady took of my wife and her dad made it in print. :-( Oh, well, the ones you took were better.

Nice to meet fellow DUers at a peace rally.

And yes, "Bush IS a fraud"!!!

to her right but completely hidden from view by a taller woman in a white shirt.

17. Nominating; need 1 more! This is down the rd from Camp Pendleton,

a major military base. This was one of SEVERAL Sheehan vigils in San Diego County, and I'm told all drew strong turnouts. If crowds this big are showing up in supposedly conservative San Diego, Bush is in deep trouble.
