Sacramento's KFBK radio turns further right
Oh boy, now we can listen to Bill O' Liely!
"KBFK, long a bastion of conservative talk radio, has dropped ABC Radio News in favor of the fledgling Fox Radio News. Will listeners notice a difference?"

2. Our local Right Wing station did the same thing several months ago
The switched from ABC Radio News to Fox Radio News. Preaching to the choir so it probably doesn't really matter.

3. That's the same station that spawned Rush Limbaugh
His first stint as a 'Talk' show host was at KFBK from 1984-1988. From there, he moved to New York in 1988, and was syndicated within a month. KFBK signing with Faux radio news doesn't surprise me one bit and the listeners will actually embrace the change..... What can you do when you're surrounded by stupidity?

5. but are they racist like Christine Craft?
This is in regards to the Christine Craft Show during the 5:00 pm hour on 9/13/05.
I have only been listening to the show since March of last year. I appreciate the fact that a liberal radio show exists, and that we now have a voice in talk radio.
I am disappointed, however, to hear Christine continue to make racially offensive comments about Hmong people. Today, she accused the Hmong people of "bludgeoning" puppies and kittens during animal sacrifice. Not only is this statement a racial generalization without any shred of evidence, it is obviously motivated by some personal vendetta against the Hmong people.
I would appreciate it if Christine would practice what she preaches. She criticizes President Bush, members of the media, and the Governernator for their treatment of minorities, yet she turns around and spews this negative rhetoric about Hmong people. Christine Craft needs to, first of all, educate herself about Hmong people, then she should apologize to the entire Hmong community. I wish there could be an end to this circle of ignorance.

7. Why are you posting this crap here?
Perhaps you should direct your comments to Christine Craft. She can be reached at christine@1240talkcity.com. Or better yet, why don't you call her on the air at (916) 766 1240, between 4pm and 6pm (M-F) and voice your opinion. I look forward to hearing your call and her response. Oh, a word of caution - I would strongly suggest you do your research on Christine's background and history before you open your mouth.

Racist?

9. Your bone is with Christine Craft
Get it? You talk with her and pitch your argument, then you listen very, very carefully to her response. Again, I would strongly suggest you do your research on Christine's background and history before you throw words like prejudice around.

And yes, I laugh. Prejudices? Oh my, yes, many.

10. my bone is with anyone racist
this is a public forum, and my goal is to present the issue, and inform others. if you're so racist that you won't budge from your hateful point of view, then well, i suppose that can't be helped. but for others, i just want them to know the truth.

11. Maybe my bone is with people wrongly accusing others of being racist...
How do you judge me to be a racist? I never said anything resembling that. Do you have a predisposition to call other people racist? Your words sound like you are the racist.

Now, as to the truth. Do you know Christine Craft has asked The Hmung community to dispute the claims about animal torture, and not one has been willing to come forward and say anything contrary? Until the claims are refuted, Christine Craft will maintain her position that there are people in the Hmung community that are doing things illegal in California, things she finds totally distasteful an unacceptable in her mind. That my friend, is NOT being RACIST!

Edited on Sun Sep-18-05 12:53 PM by Ernesto
Contact Ms Craft.... I know of at least 2 people that have. Both times, my friends were mentioned on air and received apologies. Also, call her when she is on the air. She gives out the number very often.
