Bart train strikes and kills man at San Leandro station (Cali)
http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/chronicle/archive/2005/08/26/BAbart26.DTL

BART is experiencing major delays this morning and the San Leandro station has been shut down after a man was struck and killed by a train there.

BART spokesman Linton Johnson said officials were investigating whether the man stepped in front of the train, was pushed or fell. However, a rider who was in the station at the time said it was clear the man stepped off the platform on purpose.

The incident happened at 7:23 a.m., the height of rush hour, BART said. At 8:45 a.m., Johnson said the man was still underneath the train that had struck him. He has not been identified.

sorry if I sound cold, but why do these people have to pull this crap at the busiest times for commuters?

my assistant was 2 hours late in getting in

4. I was stuck in the tube one time
when someone killed themselves at Embarcadero.

They had to switch us to the other track and didn't stop at Embarcadero and went to Montgomery.

It was a very creepy feeling being stuck in the tube for such a lone time.

I feel bad for the train operators that will have to live with that image. If someone is going to kill themselves, do it in way that your not going the fuck up someone else for the rest THEIR lives.
