Because the Registrar's aren't getting money from the State for this Special Election, they are doing it as cheaply as they can. Plus, they don't think turnout will be very high. Lots of polling places are being "consolidated".

in San Diego. I would expect all of these special elections to be "different". Gotta make sure that it doesn't stop us from getting out the vote! Especially here in San Diego. In addition to voting down all of the props, we have to get Donna Frye in at mayor, and two new progressive council members too. Get out the vote here and turn San Diego BLUE!

That happened to me a few elections ago. I've got permanent absentee now since I'm a poll worker.
If you're not 100% sure where to go (check the address on your sample ballot) call your county registrar. I can't tell you how many people I had to send to other polling places in November. Many of them showed up with thier sample ballot in thier hand and hadn't noticed the address on the back was different. :eyes:
