1. Well, I notice we got rain by mid-October again.
Perhaps an omen of another wet Winter.

5. The lightening was amazing
I love it. I was outside until it got 2 wet. I love storms. Was wondering as well if this is yet another year for mud slides?

6. hmmm, yeah, fires, then mudslides...
if there are some, I'm sure the local news
will air them over and over. Weather becomes
the news around here, doesn't it.

I live near two freeways and there were mega accidents on each of them and at the connector!

:boring: I need sleep!

8. Being right next to Miramar, also had Blue Angels flying overhead!
A lot of noises outside this weekend between the storms and the airshows...

9. Bakersfield Report
It started pouring down rain her in Bako around 5:45 pm. But coming out of weeks of hot weather, it was a great change. The cool breeze coming through our 2nd story bedroom window is a real treat.

11. This was quite the storm for October, eh?
I measured 1.1" rain yesterday, and another 0.5" today. I don't think I've ever seen it do that in October before, but it does remind me of last year. This is when the excitement started.
