2. Fine but it still isn't worth having them put us over a rack to get it
Ransom is dirty pool..and in VTA CTY I would venture to guess quite a few of those are libertarians as well.

5. I'm speaking at the Libertarian Party's monthly meeting in Aug.
as President of NWPC about our effort to increase participation of pro-choice women in all levels of government, and about our programs for recruiting/training/supporting women candidates.

Our AsssemblyPig Tony Strickland is terming out, and the 3 major party candidates to replace him (D/R/G) are all women, and we count that alone as a victory. We have endorsed the Democratic candidate Ferial Masry, who if she is elected, will be the highest Arab-American officeholder in the country.

4. I just received a plea from CAUSE for South Oxnard Voter Empowerment
Oxnard's full participation is crucial to a Dem success, and they're fortunate to have Lois Capps in Congress while the rest of us have to suffer Elton Gallegly.

www.coastalalliance.com

"CAUSE's effort to strengthen the voice of the working class community of South Oxnard is consistent with our economic justice mission to 'improve the standard of living and quality of life of working families in the Central Coast region of Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties.' It is our plan for the coming years to work with other community groups to duplicate this grassroots voter empowerment effort in other neighborhoods throughout the county and region. This year we will also be working with the Ventura County Elections Division to insure that every effort is made to maximize voter participation in all of Ventura County's communities."

This effort seeks to increase voter participation in the communities of South Oxnard in the November 2004 election by 20% from the 2000 election. This means increasing the number of South Oxnard voters on November 2nd by 3,500 people. It's a non-partisan registration/education/GOTV project, but it should be self-evident that the people of South Oxnard are better served with a Democrat in the White House (for starters).

7. Yes. He's our best hope in YEARS.
I've already phone-banked for him. I'm spreading myself between lots of smaller local campaigns this year.

If only Paul Graber had a chance against McClintock... (but I gave him $$ anyway).
