Money Magazine lists Roseville among best 100 places to live

Roseville made Money Magazine's list of the 100 Best Places to Live in the magazine's August issue, the first time the city has earned that recognition.

The city was pegged the 90th best place, with Plymouth, Minn., coming in at the top of the list. Three other California cities made the list: Irvine (No. 4), Fountain Valley (91) and Sunnyvale (No. 94).

City Manager Craig Robinson said well-planned development, high service levels for public facilities and agencies, and jobs were the top three factors that made the city a good place to live.

I think Roseville would have scored much higher if there weren't so many Republics living here.

8. I lived in Roseville for a year.
And that was a year too long. But I do support Charlie Brown!

10. Work but don't live there. Roseville up until a few weeks
ago creeped me out on a daily basis. Lately I've been seeing Obama bumperstickers on a daily basis, so I actually look forward to the drive to work. Last Saturday I was the third consecutive Obama stickered car turning into Fry's at the same time. That is so far the record.
