Great news for CA 50 - Al Gore coming to help Nick Leibham
Background: This is the district in Northern San Diego County that Duke Cunningham used to represent. He was oppossed by Busby who was a very nice but ineffectual candidate. After his resignation a former congressman who lost his Southern Congressional District due to redistricting carpetbagged up to the CA 50 citing his mother's residence as his residence. In the meantime he had become a professional lobbyist. Bilbray is an absolute bottom feeder who maxed his education by successfully completing high school.

Busby gallantly fought Bilbray twice and narrowly lost while the RNC pumped in 8 million dollars in the most expensive CD race in American history.

Now we are working hard to elect Nick Leibham a charismatic attorney with an MBA who has worked as a school teacher and prosecuting attorney as well as working as congressional assistant shortly after finishing college. We have been working hard to turn this race into a competitive race and turn one of Americas reddest upscale CD blue.

The San Diego Tribune now announces that Al Gore is coming to help with a fund raiser on Sept 20th.

Details not available but if your interested PM me and I will contact you later on.

1. Liebham is a DINO ...
I got to question him at a PDA meeting, and he came to get our endorsement.
We asked him if he would join the Progressive Caucus in DC once elected and
his answer was NO. He loaded the audience with his staff, to keep the real
progressive candidate Cheryl Ede, from gaining the endorsement. It didn't
succeed.

He's trying to get the Progressive Democrats of America endorsement but won't
join the Progressive Caucus in DC? What kind of nonsense is that?

The Democratic Party in San Diego, has been infiltrated with Republican Lite
members, because they're disgusted with the Republican Party, and know they
can't get elected with an (R) next to their name, running against the Bilbray's
and Duncan Hunter Jr's.

So they register as Democrats and we're stuck with the likes of Liebham and Mike
Lumpkin (CA52), who along with Francine Busby, where previously registered as
Republican, and have switch parties, only to run as a Democrat. They still have
extremely conservative views, but now we have to vote for them?

DINO = Democrat In Name Only
