Bill introduced to ban contributions from voting machine companies (CA)
snip...

2005 legislative session Here is a sampling of the first bills introduced in the Legislature's new two-year session

Voting machine firms (Sen. Debra Bowen, D-Redondo Beach) -- Candidates for state and local office would be barred from accepting donations from companies that make or sell any type of voting machine. Bowen, a candidate for secretary of state in 2006, contends that people charged with safeguarding the integrity of the electoral system shouldn't be taking money from the companies.

5. BAN GOP machines and private contractors
It should be non-partisan volunteers OR state employees relieved of their other duties while they count the votes.

It should ABSOLUTELY NOT be a private contractor, especially these fascist assholes.

Get those damn Canadians down here to tell us how to do it.

2. ironic that it was about the only way we could
discover their partisanship. not donating certainly won't stop their criminal fraud.

nothing will matter if we do not fight for paper ballots counted by hand.

and this election has certainly proven that machines don't make it any easier or faster. paper ballots could all have been counted and re-counted in the time this is taking.

dropping marbles in jars would have been faster still!

peace!

6. Go to Sacramento THIS SUNDAY to protest corrupt voting process
It's the 51 Capital protest, and we need as many bodies there as possible.
