2. Madeleine Albright was great and Jared Diamond
was subperb!

But Saturday was awesome: Neocon Max Boot was booed (audience was really riled) for trying to define torture as just 'good cop bad cop and not letting people sleep, Mark Danner just made Boot really look stupid and De collville(sp) (from Claremont) was humorous in a deadly serious manner and Robert Scheer was Robert Scheer:)! Then MoDo and Alterman, John Dean, Sherman and Weiner were a riot on The Lies and Deceptions panel. Sherman listed the criterion to be classified as a cult and Dean said the bush administration... MoDo was funny too on the ends justifying the means and that usually means there will be bodies everywhere hence...!

These are truly some of the Best Book weekends on the planet! :applause:

LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!

3. I missed Madeline Albright damn it!!! Did hear Amy Goodman and
Anne Lamott among others. Anne Lamott was fantastic. She is a far left christian and she read the first chapter of her new book called "Plan B: Further Thoughts on Faith"

Stood near the fabulous Katrina Van denHuevel from the Nation (I was in line and couldn't get out of it and talk to her)

I wish I had gone both days. what an amazing event.
