Palm Springs Move On Rally,yesterday
Was well attended by our standards. Well over100 people in front of City hall where we lined up on the sidewalk and waved our signs at the passing cars. Lots of drivers beeped their horns, and waved. The mayor came out as did two city council people. Unfortunately the host had an emergency' and neglected to contact the media, so we ended up with a complete news blackout. Too bad they would have loves us , as the best they can do for news generally, is cover the miriad of traffic accidents and robberies and fires nightly.I had a good time tho collectively we bemoaned the fact that the youngest at the rally must've been over 40. But then again, where do you see protestors being fropped off by big old Sedan Devilles?

1.  Were the mayor and council members IN the rally?
That would be cool.

Even if they'd been contacted the media might not have shown up.

We had very little coverage of ours considering all the alerts, releases and phone calls that went out.

Anyhow, it is the impact of the total effort and the fact that people were out there in all 50 states. Still, if you google filibuster or Rally to Stop the Judicial Takeover or MoveOn you'll see dozens of articles.

3. Would there have been a lot of Coachella concert goers there?
Going there earlier before attending this weekend's concert nearby?
