Just got back from our local peace cornering event in St. Pete and that was equally as encouraging. It used to run about 50-50 between "thumb's up" and well - violent epithets. It seems to be about 70-30 these days. I would like to urge everyone who has not done a regular corner vigil to try to at least make one a month. Most local groups could really use a few new faces because, even though there is more positive support, the groups have shrunk since the Iraq war started. Or just come on down to Baywalk any Saturday at 7PM. You can't miss us!
