John Kerry in Sioux City today, July 24

His last stop in Iowa before the convention.



Saturday, July 24, at the Anderson Dance Pavilion on the Sioux City Riverfront. Gates open at 10 AM.
Parking is available at the Tyson Event Center/Auditorium parking lot - watch for the signs and volunteers. Walk from the parking lot, thru the tunnel, to the riverfront.

Everyone must go thru security.

Please do NOT bring chairs! Limited seating will be available for those who cannot stand a long time.

Because of security, no bags, umbrellas, or outside signs will be allowed. Please limit personal items. This event will take place RAIN OR SHINE.

1. Tickets

I hear you need tickets. From Another Mark on the Kerry blog, who will be driving Vanessa and Chris I believe:

"Pick up your tickets from Erin before 10 AM at 615 Douglas Street. That's the Dem HQ and about 2 minutes from the Tyson Events Center."

2. Yep, Ticket required

Tickets can be had from the Kerry website. Unfortunately my printer is not working so I will need to stop by the HQ to pick mine up.

I would have signed on as a volunteer for the event, but, the walk through was Thursday night and I work nights.

Another Mark posted that there were 100-150 volunteers, I think it's covered! Just have a great time and report back!
