Wesley Clark to be in Mason City |
|
MASON CITY — Gen. Wesley Clark, a candidate for the Democratic nomination for president in 2004, and Iowa Lt. Gov. Sally Pederson will be in Mason City next week to drum up support for Democrats in 2006 elections.
They will be at the Rose Bowl, Highway 65 South, at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday for what is being billed as an “activist lunch.” http://www.globegazette.com/articles/2005/08/29/local/doc431284d59997a805320290.txt anybody going?

Wesley Clark it the man. To me, he always comes across as intelligent and compassionate and seems to be the most forward-thinking when it comes to foreign policies.
Besides, I really owe Wesley Clark for inspiring me to get off my lazy butt and do something for my community (and the Democratic Party). He is a hell of a speaker!
Unfortunately however I will be working and will be unable to attend. Too bad its not on a weekend/evening.

I am glad Clark is getting some coverage in Iowa.
I am a huge supporter of his foreign policy ideas (stressing regional diplomacy backed by STRATEGIC war only when necessary) and hope that he decides to run and compete in Iowa in 08.
