Congratulations to the UNI Panthers!
I see they are going to the NCAA Division 1AA championship game next Friday against either Furman or Appalachian State. Win or lose, UNI has had quite a run. Here's hoping they win and bring a championship back to Iowa! Now if we can just get the Hawkeyes a national championship... Anyway, once again, go UNI!
I know this isn't political, but darn it, we need distractions and this is pretty cool. A possible championship right here in the Hawkeye state, or will it be Panther state?

1. No it'll still be Hawkeye state ;-)
I'm a Hawkeye, lol. And we do need a national championship around here. My first alma mater, Northwest Missouri State, came oh-so-close yesterday...

2. It was one hell of a game! What you hope to see in semi-final games

Texas State's coach pulled one of the biggest boners I think I've ever seen. Reminiscent of Lute Olson and his four-corner folds. Not going for anything with a minute and a half left in regulation sent a real message to his team. And they responded to it in overtime. I believe he broke their confidence with that manuever.
Whatever. Championships depend on teamwork etc. A little luck never hurts. I got a feeling the title game will, literally, go down to the last play. Go Purple!

3. WHAT A GAME!
That was so much fun to watch and the replay after replay after replay did not get boring!

What a year to live in Cedar Falls, with the High School sports teams being so successful and UNI kicking butt we don't do anything but attend/watch sporting events anymore!

Attended a Christmas party that Farley was at Satruday and he was grinning ear-to-ear, hope he can keep that smile.
