Governor's Candidate Forum on Energy

KUNI, The Iowa Renewable Energy Association, and the University of Northern Iowa's Center for Energy and Environmental Education (CEEE) will host the Saturday, January 21, 2006 forum at 1:00 p.m., at the CEEE.

Seven candidates have agreed to provide us with a short and long term energy vision for Iowa. Guests include Bob Vander Plaats, Patty Judge, Chet Culver, Sal Mohamed, Mike Blouin, Vernon Weems, and Ed Fallon. Each candidate will get six minutes to share his or her energy vision. Each candidate will then be asked two questions from Iowa Renewable Energy Association Board Members. The candidates will be given one minute to answer each question.

This event will be recorded and then broadcast Sunday, January 22 at 11:00 a.m. on KUNI. It will also be available on the KUNI website www.kuniradio.org
