Linn Co. Hall of Fame Dinner to feature John Edwards

You might want to clear Saturday, April 8, on your calendar. That's the date when Linn County will hold the 2006 Hall of Fame Dinner and Dance. The event will run from 5 to 11 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Cedar Rapids. This year's keynote speaker will be John Edwards. The candidates for Governor and Congress will also be guests at this event. There will be dinner, dancing, door prizes and much more.

Tickets will soon be available for $50 each. (You can PM me if you need a ticket or contact the Linn County Dems.)

Lol. I just got some hilarious visions in my head picturing some of the Linn County Dems shakin their stuff on the dance floor.

I guess its a novel idea...and John Edwards will be a great speaker.
