Why would Bush become more centrist in his second term? Because he has learned the lessons of the disastrous first term? Look, the dude says he can't think of any mistakes, and as far as HE is concerned, the only disaster that counts is his losing reelection. Once he gets past that hurdle, he is going to REALLY push his agenda--unrestrained by a congress, a court, a need to be reelected, and armed with the proof that God is on his side.
