Lawsuit pondered on TouchPlay ban
The State of Iowa's potential liability for banning TouchPlay lottery machines could top more than $300 million, the president of an Omaha manufacturer of the game said Wednesday.

Scott Henneman, president of Oasis Gaming, said his company will consider legal action to fight the ban.

"There was no due process in the Legislature, and they didn't attempt to find any middle ground," Henneman said. "So we're going for due process in the courts."

He contends that the state's liability is between $300 million and $500 million.
